New Culture is a currently going through Class 8 of the IndieBio program and we are looking for a food scientist to help us with some exciting and groundbreaking science.
We are making sustainable, ethical and amazing tasting cheese without the need of animals or farms. By drastically reducing land usage, water usage, energy usage, greenhouse gas emissions and eliminating animal cruelty, we are culturing a new dairy industry for the 10 billion people that will be living on planet earth by 2050.
We are wanting an experienced food scientist to join us in a part-time capacity for 3 - 4 months in the IndieBio lab to help us create amazing cow cheese from recombinant dairy proteins. Ideally you will have 3+ years experience in food product development including experience in:
- Dairy science
- Food chemistry
- Protein chemistry
- Ingredient functionality and interactions
- Food processing techniques
- Food microbiology
We are looking for someone that is creative, shows initiative and works well with others. A full time position with vesting may be offered at the end of the program.
